After several years of being away I'm trying to re-start Orbiter but receiving the following error message; what do I need to do to fix this ?

I recently bought a Samsung 34" widescreen monitor and each time I run Orbiter I get a "Initializing 3 D environment using a hardware device failed. Try again with software device" ERROR message. Anybody experienced this before, and what would be a solution ?

Question, when using the Constallation program, I have no control over the Altair lander after separation from the booster; both main engine and control engines will not respond. What am I missing here ?

Just bought a new computer; HP i5 quadcore 1TB, 8GB RAM and 1GB video card. Problem is it's running Windows 7 and I know find myself crashing to desktop when trying to use Shuttle-fleet. Any way around this ? Any help would be appricitated.
