So in case of utter necessity I can simply jump out of a craft, fly a bit beside it, then go back and jump out again with a full supply of oxygen thus saving LOX of the craft, can't I? :facepalm:

When I EVA one of my crew they get two hours' worth of oxygen. Where does this oxygen come from? Is this amount of oxygen subtracted from LOX of XR-2 and is what is left after EVA actually added back? Or does this just come from thin air when I jump out? Thanks.

This is a most interesting case. One selector in the wrong position and two pilots with all their training and experience couldn't work it out...
