I'd like an autopilot MFD along the lines of the XR series' "Attitude Autopilot".

I know that Aerobrake MFD has this sort of thing, but I can't get it to work all that well, and I'd like a separate MFD anyway.

Something with graduations of 1 degree, allowing nice and precise reentries?

Why not request something similar to the DG's AoA hold? For some reason, I find that easier to use.

You all have Calculation MFD now. It can do anything, almost anything, I'd say. Yes, it requires a bit of understanding/experimentation to get gains right, but it's worth it.

Here and now
The difficulty of an AoA hold AP is that many vessels simply can't hold the high AoA without shifting the COG, (or at least using RCS AND aero sufraces) which is difficult (if not impossible) with a MFD. Also, the amount of shift and the values used in the PID loop vary from vessel to vessel, or even with the fuel and cargo load the vessel carries.

Try using Auto-hover MFD. Don't be fooled by the name, It come with several useful autopilots, including AOA hold.
