I am remaking the Artemis capsule. I had it too long. I have it the correct length. Looking at redo the textures. I redid the interior. So you can have the chairs folded or not.

I will need to remake the service module. But the thing I would like to do is based of events change the texture.

So when the heatshield changes to a burtnt texture the blue texture now turns to a burnt blue texture. I got issues with the VC also.

Loaded the new Artemis on a Delta 4 HVY

Still got issues with the VC and the reentry texture/material change

Nice, it would be good idea to provide a "roughness" value via material or texture to make the reflections more metallic alike (blurry) instead a mirror crisp.

The "roughness" is inverted it's actually "smoothness". 1.0 = mirror crisp, 0.0 = rough

So maybe .8?

Still can't get the reflections off.

But making a couple of crew and chairs selections whether stowed or not.

I added attachments for the LP37 for the Delta4 and then attached spotlights to it. Aimed the spotlights at the rocket. So now you can see the rocket at night.

The one thing I don't have done yet is the vc and the reflections on the hull.

I have heard that the vessel doesn't have rcs after separation. But I did. On the SLS the only thing I noticed was I had to manually separate the 2nd stage?

Thanks to @BrianJ for working with me to get a texture change for reentry.

I can do one EFT-1. But would need a new mesh,vc,....
I looked at different models of the orion. small differences.

EFT-1 only had an operational CM. The service module at the back was only a dummy one permanently attached to its Delta IV second stage, so by the end of its mission, only the CM detached from the whole complex before reentry

So if we wanted to recreate the EFT-1 then the SM with no solar panels? There seems to be differences on the capsule. I may just stick with Artemis2?

Yep...SM without solar panels (and that is permanently attached to the Delta IV second stage)
There aren't any significant differences on the CM used compared to those of later Artemis missions I think except it is darker in color
