Canadian astronaut Robert Thirsk says everything about his upcoming record-breaking six-month space mission will be "fascinating," except perhaps cleaning the toilets on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft.
C'mon, you only have to overcome the first qualms:

BTW, how many of toilets are aboard the Soyuz?

Anybody know off the top of their heads what the current record for longest time spent in space is?

Man, spending over a year on one of those stations must wear you down. I hope they let you take a few books for the trip, at least.

Yep, and movies and music. I think it was Peggy Whiston who said they can also do video uplink now too, so they can send up serial TV shows. Email and electronic "newspapers" can also be sent up. iPods have been known to make the journey, from the STS-123 RPM photography:
iPod sighted Inside Space Shuttle Endeavour by Someone Inside the International Space Station

The view is pretty awesome too, so I hear. No Orbiter-Forum, though :(
