Civilian Airports v1.0 for Orbiter 060929 (2006-P1 Edition)

Fellow Orbitnauts,

I have compiled a small number of civilian airports to give individuals a place to take-off and land your aircraft.

The airports are: Asheville Regional, Boeing Field King Co International, Charlotte Douglas International, Chicago Midway International, Chicago Ohare International, La Guardia, Los Angeles International, McCarran International, Merrill C Meigs Field, and Ronald Reagan International.

All bases use Earth Level 6 surfacetiles.

You have the choice on which bases you want to install, manual installation is required.

Are you open to requests? Just one, please, if you can get around to it sometime: Cessna's single engine aircraft manufacture plant airfield, at Independence, Kansas. That would be cool.:tiphat:

It is not only single engine. They build the Mustang there, too.

I have been flying around a few of the new airfields this evening. I put them on a fresh Orbiter install. Think I will ask, now that I have a clean slate, do you recommend any particular Earth planet texture download that you had in mind when you made them?

Hi Keith. No, I did not have a particular Earth_level texture in mind when I "downloaded" the images. I used (use) nickD's EasyTiler program at Orbithanger. The program itself downloads the sat images (in .jpg format). I just converted them to .bmp's, then to .dds files. I use Earth_L10 planet textures.
