Washington D.C. - After a three day cruise phase, the spacecraft Armstrong turned her 6 main engines toward the Earth a few hours ago and performed a braking burn, shedding her interplanetary velocity, and fell into a 350 kilometer high orbit a little after midnight here in Washington. Six orbits later the vehicle successfully rendezvoused with the ISS, and performed the most difficult and delicate docking operation in the stations history.
Immediately after docking, the remaining crew was transferred aboard from the station while engineer Hill Lewis performed the missions’ first spacewalk to sound both the Armstrong and the Enterprise for any signs of damage from the transfer from the moon. After an EVA lasting nearly 2 hours he pronounced both vessels fit to continue.
While in Earth orbit the Armstrong will undergo final provisioning and flight testing as well as mission simulation until her launch window on October 16th of this year.
With the full crew compliment finalized and on board we are happy to be able to finally release the crew list as it stands now.

Shannon McVey – age 44 – 2nd shift pilot – Juneau, Alaska
Lt. Arthur McVey - USMC - age 22 – Navigator – Yuma, Arizona
