New to the group and new to Orbiter. I hope to have some time to really try it out later this summer.

I am a Senior Airworthiness Specialist with a Canadian MRO provider, supporting military and civil aircraft programs. Over 25 years experience in aerostructures, mechanical systems, certification/airworthiness and fleet management.

In my spare time, I am the Director, Expeditions for the Mars Society Canada, and have participated in three Mars Analogue Research missions at the Mars Society facility in Utah.

Ultimately, I would like to construct a simpit, probably based on the DG IV cockpit and physical arrangement based on data available.

I look forward to discussing the options with the community.

Welcome aboard! It's always wonderful seeing fellow Canadians here (there seems to be quite a few actually). I've always been interested in Mars analogue studies myself (particularly Devon island), but I imagine you need to actually have a degree in something to participate.
