Orbiter fan here since 2008 (age 9!)

Been using a Mac for a while but finally went back to PC so I can run my favourite sim again!

What have I missed? :)

Orbiter is now open source. There is quite a bit of development going into it, but 2016 is still the official release. There is a pretty serious effort going on to make things more cross-platform, so maybe some day there will be a Mac release.

NASSP released 7.0 in 2017, and development has been ongoing on 8.0 since. (8.0 Beta on the R90 version of Orbiter Beta (not the open source one) is what most people use these days).
