I just installed the 2010 version, and i'm wondering what do some of our "veteran astronauts" use for settings? I have a 1920x1080 capable monitor and i have downloaded the hi res packs and have them all installed, but it seems there arent enough stars out. Just asking what would seem a good value to set things up at.

Also, what addons are considered to be "must haves" with Orbiter2010? I know about orbiter sound and all the great stuff on that site but without having to "guesstimate" about what mods i should use at orbithanger, can people shout out a few to get me started?
Thanks.

The DeltaGlider IV, Orbiter sound, and the UCGO from Dan is a good start - http://orbiter.dansteph.com/forum/index.php?page=download
Make sure you get the 2010 versions ;)

ISS 3.2 is another essential, look through the manual to find all the other addons you'll need to properly enjoy it. https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/international-space-station-v-3-2.2863/
Follow up with ISS A-Z

Multistage2015 (for Orbiter 2010) https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/multistage2015-for-orbiter-2010p1.3129/

With a bit of Google-Fu, you can find "Shuttle Fleet" on another site.

I had a TON of fun with Wet Workshop https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/project-outposts-wet-workshops-v2-1-0.4642/
Read that manual!!

If you look hard enough, you might be able to find the XR fleet (XR-1, XR-2, and XR-5) for Orbiter 2010. It'll be tough to find I think though.

Also anything by Yuri https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/older-addons-by-kulch.115/
These say 2006-P1, but I'm pretty sure they work with 2010.

It's late. And my brain is shutting down, but these should be some good starting points for you.
Happy Orbiting!
