This is a preview image of my upcoming Island One space colony project. Based on the original design by Dr. Gerard O'Neill, Island One is about three kilometers long and will be implemented as a vessel. Scenarios will be included, with Island One on station at the Earth-Moon L5 Lagrange point. The hangar bays (located in one of the boxy structures at the end of the station) are capable of accomodating Delta Gliders and/or Shuttle-As.
