Did the rest of the bodies surface textures today. Having a hard time trying to figure out how to create the elevation tiles. Going to take a break over the weekend

Discovered yesterday that trying to fly in the Joolian system with n-body physics is practically impossible...

Still a quite predictable system so all you need is a dedicated MFD doing the hard maths/physics for such a specific case ?

Okay, completely losing my mind over this. Started making elevation tiles for Kerbin, but all I get are these ridges. The elevation .png is completely fine, but I just can't figure out what is causing this. I am using ele2png to convert the png to elv. These tiles are level 7.

Here is the .hdr file:

Sorry for not posting any updates, but I've got exams coming up so this has taken a back seat for the moment. Need to focus on these exams

Having some problems with specular reflections on Eve. The specular reflections work fine on the normal version of Orbiter, but don't work on D3D9. All the parameters are the same, and the specular reflections work fine on Laythe and Kerbin.
Has anyone seen this issue before?
Screenshot (177).png<-- Regular Orbiter. Specular Reflections work fine.

Screenshot (176).png<-- D3D9. Specular reflections do not appear.

Yeah, implementing the Kerbol system in Orbiter is like implementing n-body physics in KSP, both of which have significant enthusiaism. With the Kerbol system add-on, we can convert Orbiter into a freemium alternative to KSP, albeit with no rocket assembly without learning computer languages.

I’m also not sure what to call the system. The star’s name is Kerbol, but what to call the actual system? Currently I have it as Kol, but this might change...

You can call the default KSP star system the Kerbol System as we call our star system the Solar System, naming after the main star. This is the convention the KSP forum is using.
