LM P57 Question

Hi, Trying to do a P57. I've read a few good explanations of the procedure here on the forum, but still not clear on at least one point....

When I get to the step where I enter the cursor and spiral angles, reading off the AOT (for my example) I'm using detent CL (5) and I get cursor angle of 0993 and spiral of 0400. R1 and R2 both require 5 digits. would I enter 09930 and 04000? And for R3 enter 00005?

That is all correct. All values entered as positive decimals (so e.g. "+09930") You can also try to estimate the hundreth of the AOT angle by looking where the last digit of the AOT counter is at between numbers, but that is not so easy to judge. And of course you can use ALT + W or S for moving the AOT at a slower rate, for fine positioning.
