After a year or so on hiatus, I decided to load up Orbiter today (2010 p1 version) and installed the XR & DG series craft 2010 versions. The installation indicated no problems, so I jumped in to get re-acquainted...but I'm having a problem with the 2d cockpits and the MFD's. The 2 MFD displays are positioned at the bottom of the screen in the proper location; however, the 2d panel itself is situated about 1/4 of the way up the screen (the MFD's are basically displaced). The buttons do not work on the panel unless I guesstimate where they'd be if the panel were correctly positioned at the bottom of the screen. Any ideas?

The upper and lower panels (ctrl+ up/down, etc) appear to be correct. The problem does not occur with the stock Delta Glider that comes with Orbiter. Running Vista Business with latest stable graphics drivers.

Thanks for any ideas...I can post the relevant config/log if needed.

Can you post a picture?

Sure, here's a quick and dirty shot of the screen:

Resolution is 1920x1260; I've tried both windowed and full-screen mode as well as adjusting the cfg files, alternating between the "auto" setting for the panel display to the "1920x1260" display setting, for these craft (this shot is from the Vanguard).

The buttons on the panel itself do not work unless you guesstimate where they'd be if positioned correctly at the bottom of the screen (e.g. pressing the lower left MFD button on the left MFD means clicking at the lower left of the screen...where the panel is not positioned).

Does this happen at lower resolutions, different aspect (ie 16:9 vs 16:10) and fullscreen vs window?

A quick fix might be to just scroll the panel in the right position with the up and down arrows on your keyboard.

Other than that, I am just amazed at how literal a screenshot can be :D

Heh, you guys are funny...yes, it's literally a screenshot. ;) I just quickly fired up the PC, launched Orbiter, snapped pic, shut it down, and headed off to work (and uploaded pic from there).

I'll try out the other options mentioned tonight and see if anything changes. Going between full screen and windowed mode makes no difference though.

Got it sorted out! I nearly forgot I have nHancer running behind the scenes (helps tremendously with FSX) and apparently a setting in there was screwing up certain elements in the Orbiter panel for the DG variants. I created an Orbiter profile and basically gave it default settings...it works fine now.

Thanks for the help folks!
