Not sure where it winds up in the system ... fortunately it got caught before it made it out of the internet temp files directory.

Oops:(

I was looking round this site a good half an hour earlier today.

Now I'm running a full AVG system scan...

I'm pretty certain it was that site ... my machine had been sitting here all day, and the only thing I had open was a browser window to Orbiter-Forum ... immediately after trying to hit 'demotivateus.com', my anti-virus started going crazy as the trojan installer was fighting with Symantec ... so, I'm reasonably certain that site was the culprit.
;)

I did an AVG of the most likely spots;
-C:\WINDOWS
-C:\Documents and Settings

and since this was aimed at adobe reader;

-C:\Program Files\Adobe

half hour later, found nothing, but start a full scan now.

BTW; What browser are you using?

Perhaps something orbiter-related:

Maybe it hits a little too close to home....

I use Firefox at home, and MSIE 6 at the office.

I went back to the site to double check ... it may not have been the site itself, but one of the pop-under windows that tries to come up (I hate those things) ... so, they may have an 'advertiser' that is either having trouble, or is trying to pull some shenanigans.

... ie., you may have gone to the site and be perfectly clean.

... I really hate trying to track down problems like that. Grrrrr ....

Finished with a complete scan... and came clean. It probably is one of those pop ups, although still a pain.

Why dont you set your Firefox pop up blocker on or up higher. I only had one or two pop ups.

Nothing ironic about the people in denial about climate change pointing out that they don't understand how the climate works.

Nothing ironic about people who buy into religious enviro nonsense having no sense of humor.

Heck, the irony is all the greater if warming is happening and these particular protesters are left out in the cold.
