I see the stickied post at the top here, giving a list for addons confirmed to be working in Orbiter2010.

I tried installing the ISS v3.1.2, including all the required addons that it mentions at the beginning, such as the Proton launcher.

However, when I try to do the Zarya scenario, using the Proton, I get a CTD around 100-150 seconds after take-off.

I searched for some answers and tried renaming the system to Sol instead of SolM, which gave me a CTD before the scenario finished loading.

Also, I couldn't get the Baikonur hi-res textures, mentioned both in the ISS readme and the list of addons confirmed working, to display properly, even after putting the required lines into the Baikonur.cfg.

What am I doing wrong? I see that these have been established as working in 2010 but I'm having a host of problems in using them.

thanks for the help

Yes, I am using Orbiter 2010, and experiencing the issues above when I try to use the add-ons.

Can you post a copy of your orbiter.log file after you experience a CTD?

This article provides good information on what we need in order to be able to assist.

This is what happens- I follow the directions in the ISS v3 exactly, and install each of these. This is from the manual.

Add-ons should be installed before ISS add-on in following order:
#1 Proton Launch Vehicle v.2.0 (by Thorton)
#2 R-7 Early Missions (by Igel)
#3 Soyuz FG (U) (by Thorton)
#4 LC39-EAFB 2006.3 (by Damir Gulesich)
#5 Hi-res Kennedy Space Center (by Kukanotas)
#6 Shuttle Fleet V4.2.0 FULL Package (by David413)

I download and install all 6 of these, overwriting whenever there's a conflict. Some of these are newer versions- the shuttle pack is v4.5 patched, the proton is v2.1, but I don't think that would be the problem. I do have the 3.1.2 patch for the ISS pack installed.

I load up the Zarya (Proton K).scn from the ISS pack. The launch works fine, but at 128 seconds after launch, all of a sudden the sky and atmosphere disappear, I'm looking at space with a bunch of stars, I briefly see what looks like pieces of the Proton rocket jumbled up, the camera spins some, and then I get the CTD message. I think it has something to do with the first stage detatching.

here is the orbiter sound log, if it helps.
