I’m about to buy a computer soon wondering if there’s anybody that ran into problems running orbiter 2016 on win 11 64?

Yes, in fact, I have not had any luck getting Orbiter to run in Windows 11 (or 10) without it. Download Orbiter 2016, drop in the latest D3D9 and go.

One of my PC is on Win 11 and O2016 works fine as well, at least orbiter.exe. I did not try D3D9 or orbiter_ng.exe with it, yet.

Starting a fresh install on WIN 11, I have a "TEMP" and "FAN" green gpu labels showing on the top left corner, as soon as the sim is running with D3D9. Any idea how to disable it ?

Those labels aren’t part of orbiter probably another program is running in the background.

You could try MSI Afterburner. It is free and works well for me. It allows you to easily edit the temp/RPM curve of your GPU.
