I was just wondering if anyone has created an addon based on (or similar to) that which is described in the following paper: http://enu.kz/repository/2010/AIAA-2010-8672.pdf

It would be very interesting to have something like this in orbiter.

The TX, though old, is perfectly useable in this aspect. Load her up with 55 tons and you're still SSTO capable. I don't know how much you can throw on the back and hit Mach 15+ with, but it's a perfectly useable XR-2 launch platform.
