Question scaling textures with distance and FOV

This is a question about the way Orbiter manages (planetary) textures. I noticed that increasing the field of view angle and increasing the distance from the surface of the planet reduces resolution of the texture used. I was wondering if it is possible to change some parameters so that the higher resolution textures would be used at wider FOV and greater distances from the surface of the planet, or even better, force Orbiter to use high resolution texture on bigger area of the planet beneath the focused ship?

You can see what I'm talking about by checking the "Tile debugger" on and then zooming in and out, or changing FOV.
