Hi, I’ve been learning IMFD and have already done a couple of successful flights to the Moon and Mars.

However, when starting landed at Olympus Base (Mars) and trying to plan a flight to Phobos (Menu → Course → Target Intercept → Phobos), IMFD behaves strangely.

I’m using Orbiter 2016 with IMFD 5.7 on Windows 11 (no D3D9 client).

Something similar once happened when I was landed on Earth planning a trip to the Moon. Changing the date in the Scenario Editor temporarily fixed it, but the issue returned after modifying TEj and TIn.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or could this be something on my end?

Looks like it works as advertized. Mars rotates, so when you change TEj, your landed location will change with the rotation of Mars. Same for other planets.

Thanks! I’m still learning how to use this tool, and I’m glad it’s just user error and not a software issue. 😅
