I decided to start a Space Shuttle Ultra dev thread here. Sorry if I posted it in the wrong place.

First dev message:

I just did an SVN update and tried to compile the rev. 48 sources. The following file is missing in the repository:

Stopwatch.h

Since it is missing, I can't compile the sources and get the latest dll.

The shuttle has some lighting problems, it stays bright at night:

Also the VC edges aren't connected...

Also, for me, the shuttle never has any wing name... just a blank shuttle...

Are you saying it's supposed to be Dark with those SRB's firing like that ?

It's a left-over from one of my experiments. It's fixed now. Just do a SVN update on the Meshes\ folder to get the fixed Atlantis.msh.

Did you get the KU stuff ??
Yes. However, I had to re-check in the old mesh since deleting the KU meshgroups screwed up the animations of the payload bay doors, radiators and landing gear.

I checked it out and it looks good, especially the burn marks from the FWD BSMs.

Seems the M6 forum is down again.

David, I'll send you the meshes and textures For the ET if you want, what is your e-mail.

Also assuming you are correct on the KU animation, make sure the Assembly is tilted inward before deploy to allow the payload doors to close. I guess it just swings out with no tilt out. If you know what I mean.

This is correct. The entire KU band antenna assembly still has a tilt to it though.

Take a close look at the white attachment bracket beneath the KU band antenna Deployable Electronics Assembly(silver box). Notice how it has angle to it?

I decided to update the mesh privately, could check it in to the SVN repository if wanted.

Yep! Also, now the SSMEs are animated and actually moves with the TVC commands.

I'll pack the new stuff and upload them here shortly.

I just noticed a slight problem with the new KU band antenna: it doesn't show up when in VC view. So it doesn't show up when viewed from any of the payload bay cameras.

With the new updates (Thanks SOO much DaveS!!!), the Exhaust flames are too far from the SSME's, and the SSME's yaw the same way whether you are yawing left or right. (check it out for yourself to see what I mean) Also, I don't think the SSME gimballing for the roll is enough. Am I just wrong, is it supposed to be this way? Also, there is an umbilical door bug, where after ET separation, they are inside the shuttle, and "properly" stowing them as the checklist states makes them open as they are supposed to be right after ET Separation...

I just tried out the prototype of the MLP. Just have one slight problem: as soon as I start up a scenario, smoke and steam begins to appear.

Any way of disabling this until SSME start and SRB ignition?
