In the video ThunderChicken posted, love the bot dog. I’ve seen them on TV in the lab, but, never saw one in the field. Really cool!

This sounds like a free-surface vortex entertainment problem.

It's a nuisance in civil hydraulic intake systems even when the pond is dead stationary, never mind a sloshing and swirling tank of methane doing belly-flops and backflips and such.

They have a very difficult fluid dynamics problem and getting a robust solution to it is going to be hard.

At least it didn’t have teeth, at least as far as I could see. Just wait’ll they make one with teeth for police departments.
