Okay, I can get into Orbit, dock with any station ,land at KSC, and even fly to the moon and back.
Now I'm ready to leave earth and learn how to go to the next two planets out there.
What would be the best tutorial for me to learn how to get from earth orbit to Mars ( or Venus for that matter)?

Thanks

Not the best but here is my checklist: http://www.stillmixtup.com/E2M.html

I must admit that I've been away from orbiter for a couple years and have not tested these procedures in the newest version of orbiter. Some posts still refer to it so it should still work or at least get you close enough to figure it out.

Have you looked at TransX or IMFD yet? Interplanetary flights can be done with just the stock MFDs, but it's a lot easier with one of those navigational tools.

Also, you might consider doing Jupiter first; it doesn't take that long to get there at 100000x, and it's a bigger target so you've got more room for error.

Time for shameless plug #2 in 2 days:p

I wrote a tutorial for just what your after a few years ago. It uses TransX so if you wanted to do it with IMFD this isn't for you. However, TransX is a more powerful MFD so its good to get the hang of. Dont be put off by the age of the tutorial as its still accurate!
