Hello,
I've been exploring the space shuttle for the past few days and I've managed to get it into orbit and do a few orbital operations, but I'm struggling to find the optimal time to begin my deorbit so that I reenter at a suitable point for landing, when would that be and how would I calculate/find out when it is?
Thanks.

Reentry burn is performed usually, roughly ~ 18000 km from the target base (of course, when orbit's plane is close to landing site).

Ah yes there's a lot there, thanks. I guess I didn't search deeply enough.
