Are the XR series supposed to suffer catastrophic blowouts when attempting to open the outer airlock door?

• Airlock doors closed
• In orbit, undocked
• Docking port extended, or nose cone opened
• Airlock depressurized
• Open outer airlock door (BOOM, everyone dead)
