PursuitMFD's landing program doesn't seem to be working. (Or I'm not using it right.) I selected landing at Olympus base, selected a pad; at the appointed time it said it was burning and showed fuel being expended, but the craft hadn't oriented itself and was not burning, and no fuel was actually being used. I sailed right past the base.

Maybe activating the autopilot might help (HLD-button).

:rolleyes::facepalm::tiphat:

BaseLandAutopilot works perfectly... except it thought the pad was .97 kilometers above where it actually was.

Put PursuitMFD in autopilot, and it did a perfect approach but also stopped a kilometer over the base.

Not sure if that's something the MFD creators will have to fix, or Martin will, or if we'll just have to live with... I'm pretty sure that I can use the VTOL MFD to finish the landing from the point the autopilot leaves off, anyway...

I have done two automated landings at Olympus a couple of minutes ago.
I am still using the previous 2010 PursuitMFD, where I have done some changes, i.e. to take the new elevation-modell in account and to make the landing-spot more "tolerant".
It's not perfect, but works on Mars landings a bit better then the new version in all my tests so far(stock DG, XR2,XR1 and XR5).

You might give it a try:

Ok that worked much better. I had to pull an Armstrong and take a bit of control at the end, but it got me much closer. :)

It might be related with this issue:

http://www.orbiter-forum.com/project.php?issueid=1271

This could affect all MFD's, which controll RCS-steering (if no workaround is implemented).
I (miss)use PursuitMFD to reset my RCS right after landing like this:
-waiting until touchdown and AP goes off (but RCS might be still active caused by the bug)
-using PursuitMFDs Attitude-Hold just for a second (like a double-click on HLD-button..on...off)

Mostly, this will reset my RCS to zero and the vessel stops from dancing around.
This helps with HoverMFD after landing, too.

Yes, it has been fixed in latest SVN versions. But as long as running the official release, you will run into this problem.

That's basically what I did. The first time I tried it, I noticed it overshot the pad, then tilted its nose up to try to compensate and ended up flying backward and crashing. So the second time I ran it, I waited until it was over the pad (and it had got a bit past), then hit horiz hold and hold alt, turned off the autopilot and then used my RCS thrusters to inch back over the pad, then turned the AP back on and the horiz and alt holds off and let it land itself.

Interesting side note: I was just reading the documentation for the Stanford Torus, and noticed I was mentioned in the credits (back when I was known to the community as Mr. Batman).

Attachment Manager seems to work in 2016.

URMS loads but I could get the windows open to operate it

[ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5069"]Orion 2011[/ame] almost works... but switching to cockpit view causes a CTD.
