Hello so I am trying to find a manual or guide that contains like an expanded checklist. Because I find myself often doing the checklist without knowing what the switch does, but the main problem is when I have to do some specific procedures that the Mfd checklist just mentions, but It doesn’t explain exactly how to do it.

if someone knows where to find something like that

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum and NASSP/Orbiter.

So the way the checklist MFD is suposted to work, it follows actual Apollo checklists and flight plans, as closely as possible. This assumes some prior knowledge of systems and operations, as did the real checklists.

There isn't really a one-and-done instructions manual I can send you to, but our friends over at the virtualagc project have an extensive document library:

A good place to start would probably be here, for the CSM:

Is there something specific, system or procedure-wise that you had a question about? I'd be more than happy to dig into it with you.

Thank you so much for all these documents, they explain way better every procedure. I have to study them of course.

And I would like to know how do you guys do a whole mission? Since it is a very long time and maximum acceleration is 50x in the NASSP.
I tried to keep going but after so many checks and procedures I can't seem to move forward.

A whole mission take time and a lot of saving and loading haha. Some of us have been studying Apollo and flying NASSP for over a decade.

What I might advise you do is fly Apollo 8 to begin. It has a pretty complete Checklist MFD you can follow and is a relatively simple mission (no rendezvous, or dealing with the LM for example)

Sure thing, we actually have a pseudo support area for NASSP in the "spaceflight" discord

Feel free to ask in there :)
