Hi to all, I have been flying NASSP since 2004 and have been so impressed with the work done to it by the great folks here. Truly very impressive work.

Having been away for a number of years I’m working my way back very, very slowly.

Trying to learn RTCC and not having much luck and finding there’s very little training info on it.

Starting simply I’m running Skylab 2 mission just to get in orbit and have undocked, I’m trying to get RTCC with GPM option for orbit adjustment changes like altitude and others.

Question is how do I configure RTCC, how to calculate the GPM maneuver GET time DV, etc, then upload itto CMC, then what program to run on AGC.

I’m know I’m asking for a step by step procedure but are then any tutorial’s available like that?

I’ve watched a bunch of videos like “indianajones91” and others. But the info is very limited on what they are doing.

Just looking for a push in the right direction. And sometimes its like working your way through the Dead Sea Scrolls!

Just a side note I still have the print out for the Apollo RTCC MFD from 8/13/2015 by indy91

I’m not using it just a note as to how far back things go.

Thank you for your time on this.

Diving in the deep in with RTCC capability aren't you! We are working on improving the RTCC quick reference guides for mission specific applications, but for the time being, the RTCC manual and asking questions is the best approach.

I would highly recommend joining us on our NASSP channel in discord (see the link below) we can walk you through everything you need for RTCC and the new skylab missions/computations!

Thank you rcflyinghokie

Yeah it’s a deep dive but very interesting, its been a few years and I’m older but still fly for a living!!!!!!

Also thanks for discord invite and I’m on.

Thanks again for your time.

Skylab 2 is supported by the MCC mission tracking feature, which gives you Maneuver PADs and such. It also sets up several things in the RTCC at orbital insertion, so you should not have to e.g. set the launch day and time manually on the RTCC MFD configuration page.

Question is how do I configure RTCC, how to calculate the GPM maneuver GET time DV, etc, then upload itto CMC, then what program to run on AGC.

You would probably have to use the Configuration page to set your CSM vessel correctly, as a first step. That should enable the GPM processor calculations to work. There are at least some explanations of this in the RTCC MFD manual, but the GPM inputs are somewhat self explanatory as well.

One general concept in the RTCC MFD is that initially almost all maneuvers are calculated with the engine NOT taken into account; they are calculated as instant velocity changes. Then in a secondary step (TRA button from the GPM page) you choose the engine for the maneuver and the burn gets converted to a finite maneuver with a slightly earlier time of ignition. When this has been calculated the TIG and DV are now available for both the Maneuver PAD page as well as the External MFD uplink page of the MFD. I hope this general explanation clears up some general concepts in the MFD.

Sorry for delay and thanks for info indy91 you helped me 4+ years ago and before that. NASSP have come a long way and you all have done a excellent job!
Thanks again for your time.
