Molniya Station is a coordinated international effort whose main contributors are Russian, European and Canadian space agencies, with NASA supplying some heavy lift capabilities when allowed by stingy Congresscritters. Its orbital period is just over 2 hours, with most of that time spent in sunlight and Van Allen radiation belts. Currently it serves no purpose other than to amuse its creator, and as a Lua testbed for logistics management. =D
