The ASVI Base (Agenzia Spaziale Vituale Italiana) is a spaceport located in Sicily, Italy, near Capo Passero. This is the most efficent launch location in the country. This base was created to fill the lack of national spaceports in Italy.
The base is equipped with a mission control center, offices, four launch pads, one of them is under construction) a vehicle assembly center, a crawlerway, a runway for reusable spaceplanes landing and it's equipped for splashdowned capsules recovery.
