Buran OK-GLI cockpit gauges 2013-05-12

This work in progress addon will add working gauges to the OK-GLI Buran aerotester Virtual cockpit.

 

Instrument layout is the following:

 

Airspeed       | attitude  | vertical speed 

AOA and Gs  | HSI         | altimeter

                        | heading | radar altimeter

 

The LCD displays indicating speed and altitude are simulated by a simple text display on screen. 

 

The gauges are animated using a LUA script, with reasonable accuracy for things like altitude and heading. I tried to calculate the other parameters to the best of my ability, but I admit that the values for G acceleration are off. 

 

Nevertheless it's possible to fly the aerotester using just the VC, so I'm releasing this as it is. It's a work in progress and if someone want's to help, simply post your code on the discussion thread.
