STPSP: Chin’toka is an auxiliary entry in the
Star Trek Planetary Systems Project (STPSP). This is an attempt to accurately simulate the major planetary systems in the
Star Trek universe (with some conjecture, mostly in the form of some ideas of mine.) A fan of the series almost since birth, I wanted to recreate the systems so that it would be possible to create scenarios in them. The Chin’toka system is home to five planets, four moons, and one surface base. The planetary arrangement is based on a chart seen in the
DS9 episode “Tears of the Prophets,” with a small bit of conjecture on my part. The one surface base requires the
Additional Base Mesh 1 add-on for meshes. You will require the
Defiant-class warship,
Klingon Fleet, Klingon Bird-of-Prey,
Galaxy-class starship,
Nebula-class starship,
Excelsior-class starship,
Miranda-class starship,
Sovereign-class starship,
Negh’var-class Klingon warship,
Galor-class Cardassian warship,
Dominion battleship, Jem’Hadar fighter, and
Breen warship add-ons for the scenarios. As for the system, I promise that you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!
