No, unless the FSF holds copyright to whatever you copied. The only people that can sue you would be the person(s) who held copyright to what you distributed, and potentially but not absolutely the person(s) you intentionally deceived and therefore exposed to liability.

As promised, we are issuing beta releases again. This is the first in three years. Most of the recent work has been around the new "LVDC++" autopilot for the Saturn, which more closely approximates the original LVDC flight software. We also switched to OrbiterSound 4.0. Our focus on the moment...

There's been updates to source since then but no beta module releases. As soon as Sourceforge is sorted out and things are settled I will be generating a new beta release. As for suffocating on the ground, I'll look for it.

I stopped contributing due to health issues. These are temporarily mitigated, so until I am unable to contribute again I am restarting development. We are temporarily inconvenienced by sourceforge being down, but so are a lot of other people.
