    Orbiter 2024 Release

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but pages 5-9 in the Orbiter User Manual (Doc directory) list 'What Is New' (New Features, Bug Fixes) in Orbiter 2024.

Project Mir station complex / UR-500 family

Is there some chance the Angara-5P with Orel spacecraft could be made available? This would be a really nice addition to spacecraft that are available to fly.

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

After a suggestion from francisdrake over in the 'Orbiter 2024 Release' thread, I copied zlib.dll from the root directory into Orbiter-2024\Modules\Server and now Orbiter 2024 WORKS!

    Orbiter 2024 Release

I tried this (copying zlib.dll from the root directory into Orbiter-2024\Modules\Server) and now Orbiter 2024 WORKS! Unsure if anyone has been following my experience with Orbiter 2024 (I posted over in the General Questions & Help subforum), but this is the first time I've been able to get it...

    Orbiter 2024 Release

That is odd. What happens if you create a desktop shortcut to Orbiter.exe that lives inside Orbiter\Modules\Server ?

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

I discovered that I CAN run the newest release candidate for Orbiter 2024 (Orbiter 2024-rc4) as long as I don't add in any planetary textures. I even got one of my old home-made addons to work after adding in Multistage2015.

    Orbiter 2024 Release

I tried adding both. It does not solve the problem. What I HAVE been able to do is run the most recent 2024 release candidate (Orbiter 2024-rc4 pre-release from 2 weeks ago) - which loads scenarios (without planetary textures) until I add in textures (for Earth, Mars, Moon - individually or in...

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

I applaud your effort and hope that you will endeavor to persevere. This is all Greek to me; I am for sure NOT a software developer/engineer. Rather, I am a biologist. I have spare microscopes if you find yourself in need of such. Peace, Sam

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

I tried this early on, hoping the issue had to do with the textures packaged with the 2024 release. And, I wanted the high-resolution textures that I'm using in Orbiter 2016 (without eating additional hard drive space). When aliasing the 2024 textures to the 2016 directory didn't work I simply...

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

Good work (!) and congratulations on getting it to go. I will be very interested in learning more. I have downloaded/unzipped/installed Orbiter 2024 many times at this point and have not gotten any closer to resolving the issue(s) that is/are confounding me - though I thoroughly appreciate all...

OK - I tried (again) downloading a new zipped Orbiter 2024, unzipped it, and NOW I HAVE those textures. BUT still experiencing the same CTD. Crazy.

Problem UNABLE to get off the pad using Orbiter 2024 - ???

No - these files do not exist anywhere inside Orbiter 2024. By the way, I have already downloaded Orbiter 2024 multiple times, thinking initially that somehow I ended up with a corrupt install. I have also unzipped/replaced the archive multiple times.

OK, I removed the moon from sol.cfg and I still get the crach.
