Ok, let me explain it better.
VAS is Virtual Address Space.
We all know that FSX is a 32 bit application and it is limited to 4 GB of Virtaul Address Space.
And 4 GB is the limit...no more.
If you are running a program called Process Explorer it displays it.
Everything FSX loading is put in...
My bandwidth 'cap is 60 GB a month. So I can download large files without being throttled at the end of the month.
And about the size of Orbiter....
As much as it takes!:hmm:
Event in Nicaragua, was it a meteorite or something else?
The lack of fireball reports from the surrounding populated area seems to suggest some other causes.
If it was not a meteorite, then what can cause such a big crater?
Hmmm, I was sure it is a Windows 8 problem.
But I'm not so sure now.
It looks like some other users also experience the problem I have.

That was why I assumed it's Windows 8.
If you are a Windows8/8.1 user, the Extreme 3D is a real PITA.

The problem is the occasional disconnection of the Joystick.
And it's a random thing.
I tried everything I know of.
I prevent the USB ports to go into sleep mode via the power...
There is a new photo of the cockpit area at Aviation Herald.
It's just horrible to see all that shrapnel holes....
They did not stand a change.

Regardless what happened, lives were lost.
And that will bring the total for the aviation industry to more than 500 people this year.
Not good at all.:(
My condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy.
In my personal opinion, I think the most annoying thing of FSX is the VAS issue.
FSX was never designed to do what we demand for it to do today.
You are limited to 4000 megabytes of VAS and that is it.
And it is just because FSX is a 32 bit app.
Now, when I took off from A, overflying B and...
Another "issue", unrelated to MAH370, that bother me is the fact that people can get into the undercarriage wells of airplanes undetected.
I refer to the 15-year-old boy who sneaked into the wheel well of a Boeing 767 and flew from San Jose, California, to Maui, Hawaii.
What if a terrorist...
