    Just looking; I can see that one of my DX files (d3dim700.dll) is missing! Will try and reinstall, then lower the res to see if that works. Will let you all know what the problem was if I eventually find out. Thanks alot

    Thanks for all the replies, I'm using DirectX9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) I understand it may not run in the res of my monitors, but most games autoadjust right? Or at least give you the option to adjust the game res? I've tried the original orbiter and even the newest base release (060929) Thanks Wez
