On a trip last week took us by the US Space and Rocket Center really had some cool stuff to see. The first thing you see on the road is a full scale Saturn 5 standing up right. As old as I am I have never seen one in its launch position.. Going inside the Apollo suit for backup Commander Dick Gordon really was something to see.. the second flown MMU was also great to see and to finish this out was the backup ASTP suit for Jack Lousma and in the back ground is the Apollo 16 CM.
the rocket garden and the Pathfinder shuttle are being worked on but still well worth the stop to see

Just some new information about Skylab . When the micro meteorite shield tore off it messed up the pyros that separate the interstate stage and it stayed on the second stage and caused over heating of the engines and almost called the Saturn 2nd stage to blow up, also when the 2nd stage separated the retro rockets blew the solar panel off the workshop
