New Release AMSO Sound Pack Update (Apollo 8 Pre-Countdown)

Hi,

This is my first ever add on for orbiter.

This file adds the Apollo 8 Pre-Countdown Audio for T - 5 Minutes to Launch.

It is designed to be used with kino_astroboy's AMSO Apollo 8 Sound Pack (But could be used on its own)


Download kino_astroboy's AMSO Apollo 8 Sound Pack FIRST:

*** DOWNLOAD Pre-Launch Sound Update***

I have stored this file on dropbox until orbit hanger approve it - In case anyone needs it sooner than that would allow...

(I have also reduced the volume of countdown.wav to match the pre-countdown audio and also after launch volumes)


This zip file will overwrite your Sound / AMSO / AS-503 (pre-countdown.wav and countdown.wav) files so BACKUP these files.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

=============

1) Download and Install kino_astroboy's AMSO Apollo 8 Sound Pack.........

(If you install kino_astroboy's Apollo 8 Add-on after this one - just re-install this file again)

2) Back up pre-countdown.wav and countdown.wav from your Orbiter install /Sound/AMSO/AS-503 folder.

3) Unzip this file to your orbiter main directory (Keeping file folders Enabled)

4) Finished - Load up Apollo 8 AMSO mission and press J at T-5 minutes to Launch and enjoy!

You need to contact Vash to get this approved on Orbiter Hanger.

Please also let me know what you think of it - it seems to have taken a while to appear and I thought id give it a go - Took me an afternoon.

Mainly I hope this helps people out and adds to their orbiter / AMSO experience

(To also avoid future confusion I will be releasing all my add-ons under the name of "lightspeeders" or "timez82 / lightspeeders" with the goal of becoming just lightspeeders (During the transistion phase of that I will put both names)



Also I intend to fix as many as the sound problems and missing audio in AMSO as possible over time. (This is top of the list currently)

What do people think of that idea?




(Any Suggestions / Comments / Bug reports? Please either PM me or reply to this thread - Only about AMSO Sound at the moment, As this is all I can do for now.
