Ascension Island (Levels 9 -19) - Highly detailed surface tiles of level 9-19; no night lights; native runway as a mesh

Ascension Island textures with a clear border of the coast.

It contains:
  • surface tiles of 9-19 levels
  • mask tiles of 9-19 levels
  • *.flt file of surface flattening for an airport (it works with linear interpolation of surface elevation)
  • *.msh file for a runway and its native *.dds texture (so that the runway doesn't shine through the ground)
  • *.cfg file of the base
  • scenario with the DG on the runway

I must be doing something wrong/missing some step when trying it in Orbiter 2024: the runway is visible, but only under the terrain mesh:

Otherwise this seems excellent and I'm keen to get it working properly! :)
 
@Fabri91, this add-on contains a FLT file for terrain flattening for the runway area. Please, check if the "Terrain flattening" option is enabled in the advanced D3D9 Client settings, and let us know if it solves the issue.

Also, you should use linear interpolation, not cubic interpolation of surface elevation (it's an option on the Orbiter launchpad), since cubic interpolation doesn't work correctly with terrain flattening.
