My first potential addon! A crater drawn with grayscale and terrim8tor,following the various mesh tutorials. It is ready to post in OH but cannot enter text into upload description box, do I need to install something?
Here is a preview:

It is entirely from my head and not from real data.Base version and position is unchanged.

I had the same problem when using Internet Explorer. Using Chrome it works fine.

It's a nice idea but I wish the whole Moon had 3D terrain.

Looks nice BUT there is no crater at that location in reality, just a small depression to the north of the base. Here I'm using real terrain textures:

Anyway, it's possible that the ground was leveled/mined when they built the base, creating an artificial crater.

Well, it doesn't have to go in at Brighton Beach. Could go anywhere right?

It looks like some of the angles are pretty sharp, i dunno.

Hey it's miles better than my attempt at terrain!

But I'll be using your crater for my next moon base building project
