That entire YouTube channel is full of hidden gems of history like that.

Something else I didn't know.

Though it make sense to send a ME262 after a PR Mosquito. If you have the aircraft to spare?

Well, it was better suited for this role than what Hitler wanted it to do - he wanted a fighter-bomber, operating at low-level. Thats about as stupid as using a Ferrari for plowing a field*.

* Of course, you would use a Lamborghini for that.

Indeed, I only knew of the 262 attacking US bombers.

F1 will be starting soon, so Lamborghini will have their chance...maybe not. Were they ever in F1?

There was a team once: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modena_(racing_team)

And of course, their V12 engine was also used in the Formula one.

Since they are part of the Volkswagen group, they likely never will again, since they think the Formula One is not worth the huge costs for it.

Well, I never knew.

Here is something else to ponder - Nazi launching first man into space almost 20 years before Gagarin and Shephard

Payload capacity of V2 was about 1000 kg (2200 lbs) and was capable of reaching over 100 miles (160 km( in a vertical flight

feasible could have designed and flown a space capsule on sub orbital hop in late 1943 Hitler vetoed it and Von Braun got in trouble with Gestapo
over supposedly wanting to use V2 to explore space

The REDSTONE which formed base for Jupiter C which launched first US satellites was in reality a cleanup up V2 - ie V2 2.0

As was the Redstone launcher for the suborbital Mercury flights
