I didn't see an existing thread, and I think he had plenty of fans among us to warrant one.
Grant was known for Mythbusters and White Rabbit Project on TV.
He was also extremely popular in the Battlebots scene for his robot Deadblow.
Prior to Mythbusters, Grant worked with Adam, Jamie, and Tory at Industrial Light and Magic, making props for movies such as the Star Wars prequels, Matrix sequels, and Terminator 3.
Grant worked on quite a few popular robots including R2D2, the Energizer bunny, and Geoff Peterson of The Late Late Show.
He died of a brain aneurysm on Monday.

A life long inspiration to me, his presence helped make Mythbusters the great success it was and in part lead me to a career in engineering.
I have been seeing an enormous number of people saying the same throughout social media.
