When I had that problem I dropped 3 DLLs in the orbiter root directory to fix my problem.

msvcp71.dll
msvcr71.dll
msvcrtd.dll

Hope this helps!

You need to acquire the listed dlls from the internet and put them in the folder next to the orbiter executable.

Not sure what Donamy's talking about...

I had the same problem when I bought my new PC (Windows 7). Copied the whole orbiter directory from my old PC (Orbiter worked 100% fine on it) to my new one. When I was 1 metre from docking with the ISS and went to external view by pressing F1, it was as if I hit the hover thrusters in full. It changed the orbit of the ISS as well.

You can find 2 of the .dll's (msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll) on your computer by searching for them (I found them with the Java dll's). Copied those two to the orbiter root directory and now it's perfect.

Cheers Cpt. Spiers
