how do you read your tutorials and stuff?

Dual monitors are great for situations such as that. Put the tutorial/checklist/whatever on one monitor and have the sim running on the other

You should probably continue with your projects plans, because this one is a hackish, and inelegant solution to the problem :P

 lol, im well familiarized with those :salute:

and still... it does't work with fullscreen - the only cure for that is one of those utility windows... like the external mfd thing....

i'll try rigging that up so it displays text, then i'll look into supporting other formats as well:hmm:

just a quick note - today i found about about CEF (Chromium Embeddable Framework), and yep - it's google chrome in a box!

i'm gonna try to have it integrated to orbiter... it'd be a superb tool, you could acccess these here boards from inside the game, as well as read any documentation on your favourite addons - PDF format is supported as long as you have that Acrobat thing installed... not sure about M$ specific ones such as .doc and .chm, tho...

also, it supports flash and everything you can plug into a browser :tiphat:

having a looksie over the documentation, it really doesn't seem too hard to do... it comes as a static library file, so linking should be pretty straightforward, i hope :hmm:

seems like this is really gonna happen!

should i succeed, the next post about his is gonna be in the addons-dev board:thumbup:
