Some of you might also be aware of various mission concepts I have discussed on other threads. For a couple of months now, I've been working on something called CASR (which kinda got poo-pooed), and for a long while that basic concept had begun to branch off into other dedicated mission proposals.
There are quite a few now, around 5-8 which I'm jointly doing research on. The big question which has really stumped practically half of these missions:
The actual destination. A few considerations have been 16 Psyche, 4179 Toutatis, even 433 Eros, 7 Iris or (comet) 103P/Hartley.
So if you guys could perhaps please give any suggestions as to viably good destinations for a general exploration mission, and why?
