Little issue with this wonderfull add-on.
Every time I launch my Soyuz verhicle (using "L" from Launch-platform)everything runs nominal till second stage seperation when the third stage will immidiately turn retro-grade.
Obviously this is not a desired flightplan so I have to abort the flight.

Any suggestions ?

That's strange... we did not observe anything like that. Can you tell whether you use one of the supplied scenarios (if yes, which one), or a customized scenario (if yes, what is the MJD launch time and intended orbit parameters)?

The problem lies indeed with the date.
If you use the soyuz launcher in a custom scenery with a different date, you can launch it manually using "L" on launchpad but the third stage will fail !

I changed the date in my custom scenery to the date used in the original add-on package and it launched automatically without failure.
It will however not tollerate sceneries that start past the date of the original package.

Any way of changing this so we can use this launcher in custom sceneries ?

Sollution that I have found to counteract stage 3 failure is to switch to manual control just prior to stage 2 sepperation.

Thanks! It could be indeed a bug in the autopilot code. Can you specify the exact date you are using (that causes the problem), so I could recreate it?

The specific scenery file I'm using has the following date;

BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol_Alt
Date MJD 55053.6350585826
END_ENVIRONMENT

Please note I'm using the "Sol-Alt" config file although I don't think this makes any difference.

I launch using "L" in launchpad and everything goes normal until stage 2 seperation when stage 3 will reverse direction in flight.
:beathead:

it is your fault, you didnt set up correctly flight programm on launchpad.

Could you be just a bit more specific instead of just saying "it's your fault" ?????
How do you set up a flight path , and why would it only affect stage 3 performance and not the first two stages ?

Never mind, found it ; "Read the GD Manual" right...................... !
:leaving:

(I still however think manuals are just one single persons opinion on how to do things...........just like maps are just one persons opinion on how to get somewhere................. typical male)
