I am trying to setup a Rescue mission for STS-107 using ShuttleFleet 4.8R0 PATCH2, and some other addons with it, including Woo482 "GAS payload Canisters".
Here is the scenario file I am using on Orbiter2010P1
The problem is that launching the shuttle without the 4 (empty) canisters has no impact on performance (the total payload is quite low) but if I add even ONE canister that will screw up launch (shuttle will be unable to reach target Apa)
Adding all 4 Canisters makes thing even worse: at SRB sep I got Speed 1000 mps, Alt 21Km and V/S below 150 mps decreasing rapidly. At second stage the shuttle just sinks down back to Earth!!
Now, each canister should weigh 100 Kg, so how can such a low payload increase affect launch so much and make the shuttle unable to reach orbit?
