Well, I did something stupid. I discovered this entire Moonbase Alpha series, and instead of downloading the updates one at a time and testing each before moving on to download the next in the series, I download them all at once. I followed the instructions and downloaded each one in the proper order, and kept the directory structure intact, but now I get a crash when I try to use any of the Moonbase Alpha scenarios. I've included the orbiter.log file; any suggestions would be appreciated.

NEVER MIND - I found out what happened. Upgrade # 3 never got installed (or more likely, I installed it into some black hole of a folder).

Nice add-on! I was wondering if I did something wrong because none of the landing pads have navaid freqs. Is that normal?

Rick,
Just saw this. All the pads in the Moonbase Alpha installation have VOR idenifications as part of their configs. If installed correctly, when in simulation you can find the VOR frequencies by pressing "Ctrl+I" (see page 9 of the manual).

Ok, so they are VORs not VTOLs. I can get one of those freqs to work (MBAOB 120.5) but the others do not work. Weird stuff.

Curious, the VOR's are set in the .cfg file. Moonbase Alpha's pads and were defined in the initial package Moonbase Alpha 101027 v1.1. They were updated with a VOR for the moonbase and Technical section in Moonbase Alpha Expansion Pack 3. Only the Eaglehangar was added (with 2 VOR's for it's pads) in the Moonbase Alpha Expansion Pack 4. The VOR's at the moonbase (MBA) and Technical Section Observation (MBAOB) have ranges of 500 Km and 100 Km respectively. To avoid overlap the individual pad VOR's have only a 1 Km range so if you're over Pad 1 you can only receive Pad 1, 2, 4, and 5. Pad 3 is out of range. You can select the VOR frequencies via Comm MFD. Check your MoonbaseAlpha1.cfg (in the Config/Moon/Base folder), it should be this (see below). Hope this helps.

Elevator/Eaglehanger T Car usage?

AMAZING addon!! I am running into an issue using the elevator and transport from the Eaglehanger. I followed the instructions, but do not see what you mean by "At the left of your screen you will see Elevator name:"none listed". I tried typing the name of the elevator that I'm in and pressing G, but it didnt move. Can you clarify the usage for me plz?

Hello everybody,

it's my first post here and I hope someone can help me.

After a long break doing orbiter I now rediscovered it and I tried to work with Moonbase Alpha.

After having installed all previous packs I finally came to expansion pack 4.
But there I have a little problem.

I cannot find the Chemical Laboratory and Weapons Section.

Does anybody have the same problem ?

All the other things like the hangar are there and seem to work fine.
But these two station seem to be missing in the mesh.

What am I doing wrong ?
