Installation Need help with AMSO Apollo add-on

The scenarios should be copied over during the process I outlined above. They go into a subdirectory of the Scenarios folder in Orbiter called AMSO - you can again navigate to this directory to verify that the files are present. If not, you would do well to restart the whole process, as it sounds distinctly like you have only a partial installation from all the missing components.

FML....there not there.

The AMSO .zip file contains the entire addon. You need only the files contained within the .zip file.

As I said, if the files are not present, you should go back to instruction 4.

Please re-read my instructions. Not once do I tell you to go to an Orbiter folder on your desktop.

However, an easy way to find out where Orbiter is located is to open the properties page of the shortcut pointing to it and look at the path field.

can you please go to www.teamviewer.com and download teamviewer and ill give u my id and pass so u can please help me through this.

Alas, I cannot do it for you, for you must learn the process yourself - else you will return with the same issues next time.

......PLEASE
Ok, so you have Orbiter 2010 P1 working, right ?
You do have a shortcut on your desktop saying "Orbiter something" that brings you to the Launchpad interface, so you can confirm it is working?
Ok, exit from Launchpad.

Press the key with the Windows logo on your keyboard, keep it pressed, and press "F" (FIND).
Type "orbiter.exe" without quotes, and press ENTER
In a short while you should have a window with the search results.
Right click on the "orbiter.exe" you just found and choose "open folder" (or similar).

That's the folder where you installed Orbiter!

Lets's say: C:\whatever\ORBITER
Let this window open!

Now you have "AMSO119.zip" on your desktop.
Create a temp folder in your desktop: right click on any empty part of desktop and choose NEW -> FOLDER.
Name it as you want.
Select your "AMSO119.zip" file and COPY or MOVE it into this folder (CTRL-C or CTRL-X / then CTRL-V).
Right click on "AMSO119.zip" and choose "extract here" or similar.

These folders are then extracted:
Config
Doc
Meshes
Modules
Scenarios
Sound
Textures

Select them ALL and copy/move them into you original ORBITER folder!

DONE!

P.S.:Sorry if there are some incongruences...I'm writing from a Linux machine and I'm going by memory.
