Hardware Nvidia GeForce GT 520 Problems

I recently purchased a GT520 graphics card so that I could play mass effect. It works quite well at that but ever since I installed it, it has an infuriating habit of causing the entire computer to freeze a few minutes after I start a simulation in orbiter. Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here

I have a new Point of View Gforce GT520 and after installing it my computer starting going haywire all of a sudden: crashing to bsod, games freezes. I have installed the newest beta drivers from Nvidia, 290something, but still no results.

Hey man,

Make sure your drivers are current for the card. Also, make sure your runtime libraries are also current. I have the same card you are using and after did all that it worked.

I updated the drivers but I'm not sure how to check and update the runtime libraries. In any case, orbiter still crashes for no apparent reason.
